On February 7, 2018, Chancellor Davenport emailed the campus community to address a proposed event on campus organized by the Traditionalist Worker Party (TWP). The TWP is a white nationalist group that is not affiliated with the university.
A local affiliate of this group has claimed credit for recent messages on the Rock. Several messages were signed “TWP.”
